(Preface) 'Ten years of continual success have marked the progress of the now famous Graphics Ad Lib series of books. Graphics Ad Lib No. 1, first published in 1969, has already been reprinted three times. Its successors, Graphics Ad Lib No. 2 and Industrial Graphics Ad Lib have proved just as popular.
Now you have Graphics Ad Lib No. 3. The majority of the original material has now been updated in keeping with the latest design trends and, indeed, Graphics Ad Lib No. 3 is some 10% larger than its predecessors. There are therefore plenty of new ideas, nearly 200 pages of ready-to-use artwork for all involved in visual communication.
There are three main ways in which Graphics Ad Lib can be as a reference source when producing design roughs the Animal section would be particularly helpful in this connection; as a photocopy source, allowing enlargement or reduction, for a variety of uses ranging from print ads to exhibition stands; and as a stimulus for producing fresh ideas for the creative man with little time and a heavy work load.
The principle of the Graphics Ad Lib series has been well proven, and examples of the copyright-free material the books supply are seen again and again in newspapers and journals throughout the world.
