(Preface) 'This collection of images is taken from a set of fifty logotype designs produced by Malcolm Garrett for a variety of clients since 1977. The complete set of images were produced as silkscreen prints, with the generous assistance of Artomatic printers, to form the core of an exhibition which was held at the Parco Gallery, Tokyo in September 1991 and at the Design Museum, London in March 1992. The show is also scheduled to travel to the New York School of Visual Arts Gallery in 1993.
The images were created, or in many cases re-created as the originals predate electronic assistance, using Macintosh software.
Garrett is a self-confessed digital devotee and he is currently working on an interactive electronic catalogue of this work.’
