International annual of design and illustration. Owners stamp to inside front cover (Roundel Design Group).

(Preface) Swiss poet Blaise Cendrars once wrote to Cassandre, "Advertising is the flower of daily life; it is a confirmation of optimism and gaiety; it distracts the eye and the spirit." Today, faced with an almost constant barrage of visual imagery, we long for designs that function as "'the flower(s) of daily life." All the more challenging, then, is the unique responsibility of the contemporary design. GRAPHIS DESIGN 92 brings together in a single outstanding volume the top advertising work produced throughout the world in its various print forms (brochures, catalogs, logos, print ads, stationery, and packaging). Their creative distinction is founded on imagination, beauty, vitality. These very same qualities also place the editorial designs and illustrations a cut above the rest. Like the motivation behind Cendrars's statement, these are works to be inspired by.
