About: Issue 1 (from a series of 26) influential, innovative poetry broadsides published by Hansjörg Mayer between 1965 and 1969. Poet, printer and typographer Hansjörg Mayer experimented extensively with the shapes of individual lower-case letters in the futura typeface. Each issue was devoted to a single artist or poet and within the physical constraints of the publication format they were essentially free to do whatever they liked.
