(Preface) 'This is the first in an irregular series of publications on subjects close to our hearts. In the future (we've said it now so it has to happen), there will be issues on design, designers, books and other things we haven't thought of yet. Nothing is closer to our hearts than our work, so we thought we'd kick off with a selection of recently completed projects. Spin/1 serves as an introduction to the studio and, no doubt, reveals some of the opinions and prejudices that will shape the selection of future material.'
