(Preface/Translation) 'Martin Rous was born in 1939 in Tjimahi, Indonesia and lives and works in The Hague. The series of drawings depicted in this catalog consists of twelve 'untitled' sheets, all in the format 80 × 80 cm, ink on cardboard and made in 1975. This series is not present at the exhibition but will be exhibited at the 9th Biennale de Paris , from September 19- November 3, 1975. Martin Rous has indicated what the top of the depicted drawings is. The order was not determined by him but is a well-considered choice from a limited number of options.'
