(Introduction) 'This document has been produced specifically for designers and other communication specialists who are responsible for creating Corus literature. Use it as a benchmark for all printed communications.

The introduction outlines the rules for the basic elements of the new Corus identity: our mark, our colours, our typeface and our language. It then introduces the three styles of literature we will be using and explains how you can select the right style for a particular communication task.

The next three sections take each of these literature styles in turn and, with the help of templates and examples, demonstrate the correct way to apply imagery to a standard A4 framework. The final section explains how to apply these rules to other formats.'
