(Introduction) 'Another Swiss specialty? A phenomenon we are rediscovering today with astonishment, nostalgia, or indifference. A look at Swiss typography? Isn't it already a phenomenon of the past, cataloged as a controlled term? I won't enter into the controversy over this vague, often overly reductive term, which designates a movement adept at constructivist graphic design and identified with Josef Müller-Brockmann. This term more accurately sums up a reflection on communication and creation based on a mathematical order that would lead to an international style practiced in the 1960s by agencies all over the world and which, outside of Switzerland, is called "Swiss typography...'
